Camping near Manglisi
Manglisi is a paradise for those who love sleeping closer to nature. The Trialeti range and Algeti National Park have plenty of places to pitch a tent, hear an owl at night, and wake up to the smell of pines and campfire coffee.
Where you can pitch a tent
- Manglisi pine grove — right at the edge of the village, quiet and safe.
- Algeti riverbank — for those who love the sound of water.
- Algeti National Park — designated camping zones along the Samepo trail.
- High meadows — beyond the village, for those who want a view of Trialeti.
What to bring
- A warm sleeping bag — even in summer mountain nights are chilly (+8…+12 °C).
- A raincoat or tarp — mountain weather changes fast.
- A gas stove — open fire is often forbidden in the national park.
- Headlamp, first-aid kit, repellent.
- Layered warm clothing.
Camping + cottage = the perfect mix
Many of our guests do this: 2–3 nights in a tent in Algeti or on a meadow, then back to the cottage — hot shower, washing machine, heating, a real bed. And out again. The best of both worlds.
Rules
- No open fire in protected zones — gas stove only.
- Pack out all rubbish.
- No noise after 10 PM.
- No walking eco-trails after dark — safer for you and the animals.
